The election result in Lingiari – all of the Territory except Darwin – is unlikely to be known before the end of next week, according to a Federal Electoral Commission spokesman.
Sitting Member Warren Snowdon (Labor) is currently 1521 votes ahead of Tina MacFarlane (Country Liberals), but 2589 Declaration Votes, including postal votes, are yet to be counted.
